Matthew Barbour recently completed his interview process and has been approved by the BCA Board of Advisors. Matt will now be recognized as an official Decision Maker under the Today’s Systems Corporation membership.
Matthew officially began his career with Office Service Company in 2000 but his connection to OSC has been lifelong. As a family business, Office Service has spanned 3 generations and over 96 years in operation and Matthew has worn many hats while with the company. From stocking shelves at 10 years old to purchasing the company in 2015 with his brother and business partner, his experience has touched every facet of the company. As CEO, Matthew’s role focuses on sales and marketing but he oversees all aspects of the business and is charged with setting company growth strategy. He is passionate about developing talent within his company and growing a family business while connecting with the community.
Office Service Company is a regional office supply, office furniture, and PPE supplier servicing clients not only in the mid-Atlantic but on a national scale as well.
While Matthew has focused much of his career on Office Service Co., he took time to gain outside experience, first in Denver, Colorado working in sales and consulting for a contract furniture dealer. He then was relocated to San Francisco to work as a Global Commercial Account Manager for the world’s largest office furniture manufacturer, HNI, under their Allsteel brand. In this role, he negotiated global contracts with companies including Google, Jaguar / Land Rover, Toyota, LinkedIn, Facebook, Brocade Communications, and others. Following his time with HNI, Matthew moved to Bozeman, Montana to start a luxury adventure travel business. After two years in operation, he moved into film and video production where he worked as a Producer and eventually executive producer for his own production company. Rather than move to LA to further his film career, Matthew moved back to Pennsylvania and purchased Office Service Company.
Matthew has a BA in Philosophy and Political Science from Gettysburg College and a JD from Boston University. He is bar certified in Pennsylvania.
Matthew is married to Amanda Fullerton, a Montana native. Matthew and Amanda try to play as hard they work by traveling (when it’s allowed), skiing, racing vintage race cars, dining out, and working on their house. Thier two Bengal cats, Lucy and Winston, round out their family.

In order to maintain our integrity as a decision maker organization, we vet this aspect during our membership interview process. If a change in leadership occurs within a current BCA Member company, the new leadership also gets vetted by our Board.
