Founded in 2006, LANDCORE is known for its expertise in land development design and permitting services across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, and Maryland. From residential to commercial, industrial to institutional projects, they bring a developer’s mindset to every challenge, tackling the tough projects that others shy away from.
Matthew Rutt
CEO and FounderMatthew Rutt, Founder and CEO of LANDCORE Engineering Consultants, brings over 25 years of experience in land development and a degree in Civil Engineering from Lafayette College.
Matt’s career is marked by his visionary leadership and role as a “culture gatekeeper,” ensuring that Landcore maintains its steady growth while preserving its rich working environment.
Beyond the office, Matt’s commitment to personal growth is just as strong; having grown up on a dairy farm, he’s no stranger to hard work, waking up at 4 a.m. daily for chores. He has also completed multiple Ironman triathlons and recently took a two-month sabbatical to travel with his family through North Africa and Southern Europe, reinforcing his passion for balance and exploration.
Brian Meyers
COOBrian Meyers, LANDCORE’s Chief Operating Officer and Partner, has been an integral part of the company since joining in 2007 as its first full-time employee.
With over 20 years of experience in land development and professional licenses across five states, Brian is the driving force behind the firm’s operational efficiency and team engagement. A Lafayette College graduate like Matt, Brian brings a wealth of knowledge to his role, mentoring the Project Management Team on complex development challenges. Outside of work, Brian enjoys outdoor activities like golf, snowboarding, and fishing. He and his wife even appeared on HGTV’s “My First Place” when they bought their first home, a fun nod to his hands-on, can-do personality.
