| Dear Friends, Colleagues and Business Associates, This month marks our 30th anniversary. Reflecting back, we not only think about the great projects we’ve built, but also distinctly remember the people we’ve worked with. Throughout these 30 years, we’ve been blessed with many amazing relationships – with our customers, subcontractors, and vendors who have helped along the way. Today, we are very proud of the growth of our business and remarkably grateful to everyone who has played a part. Most importantly, we are very thankful for the team we’ve developed, which boasts quite a few longstanding employees. They’ve been a huge asset in providing our clients and partners with consistency, reliability and a solid job at the end of the day. We’re proud of our journey as a Company – a journey that survived 3 recessions, the dot-com bubble, Y2K, and the subprime mortgage crisis – allowing us to finally celebrate an Eagles Super Bowl win together as a Company. Importantly, this journey has taught us a few things about being successful in the Philly construction market: through the good years and lean, we’ve learned how to consistently deliver high-quality projects in the most competitive way possible. While this September will mark H.C. Pody’s 30th anniversary of incorporation, our story is one that starts long before that. The Pody family is a family of builders; and like so many of us in the architecture, engineering and construction industry, building is in our blood. Our father was a builder, as was our grandfather. When it was our turn to build a business, we did it the way our parents taught us: by first building trust and building personal relationships. Relying on these values has paid off for us – we’ve successfully completed multiple projects in Center City Philadelphia, our work has been recognized for Excellence in Construction, and we completed work on one of Philly’s most cutting edge projects – worthy of headline news in the Philadelphia Inquirer. Our 30th anniversary reminds us of just how far our company has come… we’re just as excited today as we were in 1989 to work with our customers and partners.
