CHARITY SPOTLIGHT

We Love Philly teaches students how to navigate complex emotional stressors, connects students with local entrepreneurs and business owners to gain expertise, and helps students to create their own brand. Supporting children and youth to reach their full potential is their mission. As a part of their Spotlight, we are helping We Love Philly raise awareness for their Kilimanjaro Climb Fundraiser, for which our own Keith Baldwin is participating in to raise $500,000 to acquire two acres of land in West Philly to grow their transformative community. HDO Architecture has volunteered their professional expertise and services for the proposed expansion and development.

They asked our members to write down one thing they wish they can tell there younger selves and here are some examples of what our members said:

• Get a Masters Degree and invest in Real Estate!
• Dress better! Your clothing matters and speaks before you do
• Embrace your education
• Embrace your individualism and never conform!
• It’s okay to be a winner and work towards your success
• Explore different opportunities to find your passion. Passion doesn’t feel like work!
