New Member Portal Features

The first update to the BCAProud Member Portal (since our launch in October) was released this past weekend. We want to take a second and point out some of our favorite new features of this release. 

User Experience Refresh 

A refresh of the styling lends a great new user interface on the Event detail and RSVP page. The refresh includes a new section called Event Tools which provides expanded details for each event, such as 

  • More speaker information and headshot (if applicable)
  • Dress code/ Attire
  • Parking instructions
  • Detailed agenda
  • Culture section

Memberblock Allotment

One of the most frequently asked questions is, “How many seats do I have for this event?” Well, ask no more. Now you can easily see the number of available and confirmed RSVP’s for your memberblock specific to each event.

  • Head to any event detail page and scroll down to the Memberblock section.
  • Your memberblock allotment and number of confirmed RSVP’s appears at the top of the  Memberblock Summary section.



Member Resources 

On the black footer at the bottom of each portal page, you will now see “Member Resources”. Currently the resource list contains a link to the “Advantage program” brochure and a link to the “Unofficial Calendar”. Additional resources will continue to be added in the future.


Your Name On Your Guest RSVP Page 

When your invited guest clicks the RSVP link in the invite you send them, they are taken directly to their own dedicated RSVP/Event detail page. The blue bar at the top of that page, now displays your name (or the name of the person who invited them), so there is no doubt which exclusive member they were invited by.

BCA Blog access 

Access to the blog is now available from the Member Portal. The newly designed portal navigational menu includes a direct link to the BCAProud blog.


In addition to the features described above, many backend development issues have been fixed, but if you ever encounter an error or bug on our site, please report it to us as soon as possible.
