Gibbons P.C. has once again been named a “New Jersey Powerhouse” law firm byLaw360, as part of the publication’s “Regional Powerhouses” series. Gibbons has been featured on this list every year it has been published.
The 2018 New Jersey Powerhouse list comprises five law firms selected for “manag[ing] to thrive amid the competition that marks the most densely populated state in the nation.” The selection of Gibbons was based on its longstanding ties to projects that impact New Jersey’s most important industries and its handling of matters that often involve unique New Jersey legislation, pioneering transactions, major land developments, and complex state- and nationwide litigations.
In highlighting recent victories in its Gibbons profile for the Powerhouse series, Law360notes that the firm “notched a pair of sports victories of national and global proportions in recent months, helping to secure a U.S. Supreme Court decision that struck down a federal ban on sports betting and gain FIFA approval of a joint bid from the United States, Canada and Mexico to host the 2026 World Cup.”
