BCA would like to recognize Baker Industries as our June Charity Spotlight at the 2018 Hospitality Breakfast Featuring Frank Abagnale.
A social enterprise, Baker Industries blends a unique mix of hard-to-employ adults in our nonprofit work program. Their program is designed to respond to the workers’ special needs while encouraging them to work hard and move on to better things.
At Baker Industries, they foster in their employees the feelings of pride and accomplishment that can only come from being included in, rather than excluded from, the regular workforce.
Today, Baker Industries has facilities in both Malvern and Philadelphia, where 200 people each year are working to rebuild their lives.
