Last week, Joe McMahon’s granddaughter Keira McMahon got to take a break from grueling rounds of chemotherapy and spend some time at the Phillies game.
She even got a special surprise visit from the Phillie Phanatic. As Joe said ” She loved the big green guy”
This is a welcome break for Kiera who has been battling advanced stage Neuroblastoma. Although this is great news, Keira’s battle is far from over. We hope you’ll join us in supporting Keira’s (and all those fighting childhood cancer) battle!
Fellow BCA member Geoff Passehl captains a team in the Lemon Run 5K. Last year several BCA members came out to support including Craig Marowitz and his band who played on the race course.
This year we hope to see all the BCA members out on November 13th. Geoff’s goal is to have over 200 on the Lemon Ninjas team… Let’s help him and Keira and the entire McMahon family do that!
