Relationships that flourish from a safe place are more likely to succeed. The BCA community is intentionally created to be that safe place from which the strongest relationships can be built. In order to maintain the distinct culture and integrity of our community, each member agrees to uphold 10 commitments. in 2024, we’ve turned the spotlight on Membership Commitment #7: Relationship Building.

SPOTLIGHT ON COMMITMENT #7: RELATIONSHIP BUILDING

Building relationships through one-on-ones (1:1s) and small group activities (outside of maintenance points) is the key to success. Relationship building requires a process of frequent, interactive exchanges. It is one of the most powerful marketing techniques, and also one of the most personally involved.

Throughout the year, we will share some insights, tips, challenges and best practices on relationship building.

Initiate and Schedule A 1:1 Meeting

Taking the first step is arguably the most important part of relationship building (and sometimes the most controversial šŸ˜‰). Controversial because we hear almost every member say ā€œno one ever reaches out to me for a one on one, Iā€™m always the one reaching outā€. Letā€™s change that perception!
