BCA Philadelphia Opens Public Search for the Next Home of Its Speaker Series
After 20 years and four Philadelphia landmarks, the region’s relationship-driven business community invites venues — and its own members — to help write the next chapter
Philadelphia, PA. — September 9, 2026— BCA Philadelphia today announced an open search for the next venue to host its Speaker Series, the organization’s flagship event program, beginning with its January 2027 event.
The Speaker Series convenes 150 to 200 of the Greater Delaware Valley’s business leaders five times each year, in breakfast and evening formats, around a nationally known keynote speaker. Each event opens with a full hour dedicated to relationship building before the stage program begins — a structure BCA considers as essential as the speaker itself.
Over two decades, the Series has been hosted at some of Philadelphia’s most recognizable addresses: the Crystal Tea Room, the Union League of Philadelphia, the National Constitution Center, and, since 2022, the Kimmel Center. Each shaped the program in its own way.
“Twenty years in, we’re asking a simple question: where does this belong next?” said Joleen Jaworski, President of BCA Philadelphia. “We’re not looking for a ballroom. We’re looking for a room where 200 people can build real relationships, then be inspired together. That’s a rare space, and we suspect some of the best candidates are places we haven’t thought of yet.”
BCA is seeking venues that can offer a distinct gathering space for the pre-program hour separate from the seated program space, comfortable and reliable conditions year-round, accessible parking or transit, and flexibility to preferably work with BCA’s longstanding catering (12th Street) and production partners (Advanced Staging).
The organization is opening the search in two directions at once. Venues interested in being considered can Click here for the RFP or request it directly. BCA is also asking its members and the broader business community for introductions — to venues, general managers, and event teams they know and trust.
“Our members have spent twenty years making introductions for one another,” [Last Name] said. “This time we’re asking them to make one for us.”
