“Best Restaurant in America” Hosts BCA Dine-Around Dinner

The recently named “Best Restaurant in America,” by the James Beard Foundation, had the honor of hosting last Wednesday’s BCA Dine-Around Dinner!  Yes, our BCA diners experienced a magnificent dinner of tasty Israeli cuisine at America’s best restaurant.  Everyone LOVED their dinner, which included Hummus-Tehina with House-Baked Pitas, Moroccan Carrots, Hungarian Peppers, Pickled Nappa Cabbage, Twice-Cooked Eggplant, Beets with Tehina, Fried Cauliflower, Asparagus, Roasted Rhubarb, Crimini Mushrooms, Whole-Roasted Lamb Shoulder, Smoked Chicken, Grouper Chraime and Chocolate Konafi.  The consensus of the group after sampling each dish was, “This is the best thing I’ve ever tasted!”  A fantastic time was had by all in attendance.  The only downside of dining at Zahav is trying to figure out how to top it for the next BCA Dine-Around Dinner!
