Cross Keys Café – Now Open at the Museum of the American Revolution

The all new Cross Keys Cafe at Museum of the American Revolution is not just for tourists. Stop by our new eatery by Brle Catering in Old City for a relaxed setting, with a view of Hamilton’s First National Bank and seasonal menu offerings!

The Museum of the American Revolution is the newest destination in Historic Philadelphia and Brle is the exclusive caterer for private events in the Museum and also manages and operates the Caf inside. Cross Keys Caf, named for an 18th century tavern located across the street, offers Revolutionary fare in a colonial-inspired setting, with its red Windsor chairs and Revolution-themed imagery.

Cross Keys Caf offers gourmet grab-and-go salads and sandwiches, as well as items that pay tribute to the colonial era, such as Philadelphia Snapper Soup, Chicken Pot Pie, and Tun Tavern Bread Pudding. Patrons can enter the caf directly from Third Street – no Museum ticket purchase necessary.  A Taste of History’s Chef Staib has a partnership with Brle Catering as a consultant on some of the colonial-inspired menus offered at the new landmark location such as Martha Washington’s Cake.
