Delco Development, LLC and Pennsauken Township celebrated the grand opening of Haddon Point Apartments in Pennsauken yesterday at the community clubhouse located at 2100 Haddonfield Road, Pennsauken, NJ, the site of the Old Pennsauken Mart.
A nod of nostalgia was noted as the celebration of approximately one hundred guests ensued at the Grand Opening of Delco Development’s first residential community. Photos of the Pennsauken Mart adorned the window sill in the clubhouse, as guests were welcomed to experience this new space where the iconic mart once stood.
The grand opening celebration included a ribbon cutting ceremony, cocktail party and property tours. In addition to members of the Juliano family; Pennsauken Mayor, Jack Killion, Township Committee members; including a tu-tu adorned Committeeman Rick Taylor, Delco Development team members, construction partners, architects and contractors were all in attendance.
The apartment community, with 120 units currently available for lease, has already welcomed its first two residents. The first ten residents to move in will receive a free, Alexa-enabled, Amazon Echo to connect all of their new Smarthome appliances.
An additional 120 units are currently under construction on the thirty-five acre parcel. Phase II of the project is slated to begin this spring and will consist of townhomes by Ryan Homes.
