Thanks to all of you who braved the Septa strike to support Brian in his quest to ‘move the needle’ on his business and find more time to be strategic. Also, thank you Brian from Henry A . Davidsen for treating everyone to a wonderful Italian lunch.
The brain trust in that room was so wonderful to watch and listen to and the advice you gave to Brian was invaluable:
- Determine what your time is worth and give up those things that can be outsourced
- Identify someone you can mentor to eventually handle some of the things you do now
- OnBoard an intern/grad student who may want to learn the industry
- Get a Coach…..That was unanimous
Keep in mind those you broke bread with and reconnect if you haven’t had a chance to in a while.
